The pattern I keep coming back to across 20+ years: I can't walk past a problem once I see the solution. That's how the products got built, and it's how I show up on a team.
What people say
Two clients on custom review + scoring platforms I built for Savannah-area nonprofits.
Working with Chris on The Savannah Book Review App has been an absolute dream. Before Chris built this app, managing our submissions, reviewer feedback, and voting was tedious admin work. Chris stepped in and made sense of an enormous amount of raw data, and built a sleek, custom platform that transformed our entire process.
Here is what makes Chris so exceptional to work with:
- Incredible Data Skills. Chris excels at taking complex data functions such as aggregating score distributions across multi-point scales, calculating vote weights, sorting submissions by category, and organizing it into clean, intuitive dashboards. He turns high-volume data into clear insights without making the app feel overwhelming for users.
- Agile & Quick to Pivot. Tech needs and festival workflows change fast, and Chris handles shifts in direction effortlessly. Whenever a new voting scenario popped up or our feedback required a tweak to the voting mechanics, Chris adapted with precise, creative solutions.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail. Every feature, button, and navigation path is built with incredible precision and polish.
- A Joy to Work With. Beyond his technical expertise, Chris is patient, deeply dedicated, and a fantastic listener. He took the time to truly understand our workflow, guided us through every step of the build.
If you ever have the opportunity to collaborate with Chris, jump at it! He brings a rare mix of high-level problem solving, agility, and genuine warmth to his projects.
As a board member for TEDxSavannah, we are often overwhelmed by the number of speaker applications we receive and how to sort through them effectively. Chris built a custom tool for us that enabled our board members to simultaneously implement real-time scoring, categorization, and sorting mechanisms. This eliminated hours of administrative work and greatly enhanced efficiency. He understood our needs better than we did and he delivered!

Current Focus
Most of my time goes to shipping the products above. The work is hands-on: design, build, ship, support.
I’m also open to the right role on the right team. I work best with teams who:
- Treat the cross-functional thing as a feature, not a niche
- Care about outcomes, not just completion or activity
- Are remote-first or remote-friendly (I’m based in Savannah, GA)
- Want someone who’ll design the learning, build the tool that delivers it, and stay on after launch
Community Work
Executive Director, Savannah Performance Alliance (501(c)(3) nonprofit)
- Founded in 2018, achieved nonprofit status 2025
- 24 Hour Plays, Savannah Performing Arts Festival
- SPA podcast
Let’s talk about what you’re building.
The best conversations I have start with someone describing a process that doesn’t quite fit off-the-shelf tools. If that sounds like where you’re at, send a note.
