Builder. Learning experience designer. Voice actor.
For 20+ years, I've combined instructional design, technical development, and multimedia production. The pattern I keep coming back to: I can't walk past a problem once I see the solution. That's how the products got built, and it's how I show up on a team.

Career Timeline
The full trace. Every role deposited something the current work uses.
BFA in Animation
The foundation. Learned to think in motion, character, narrative, and time. Also developed the creative obsession that makes solving feel like play.
Motion Graphics
Translated animation into broadcast contexts. Learned that motion is a language — and that visual communication is problem-solving at its most immediate.
Media Developer → IT Developer
Built educational media, then pivoted into systems within the same institution. Began building the technical fluency that would later let me solve problems across the full stack.
Full Stack Developer & Media Designer
Seven years moving between clients, industries, and problem types. Each engagement a new problem domain.
Director of IT Services
150+ employees. Six offices. Complex customs brokerage operations. Built a CRM that saved $1.2M. Managed enterprise infrastructure.
Stage Actor · Voice Actor · Founder, SPA
Stage actor since 2011. Voice actor with credits including the animated feature Chickenhare and the Secret of the Groundhog. Founder of the Savannah Performance Alliance (2018), co-founder of SPAF, producer of 100+ podcast episodes.
What I Bring
Most learning designers create content. I design, build, and produce complete solutions:
Learning objectives, assessments, scenario-based learning, accessibility
LMS platforms, custom tools, integrations, analytics
Video, voice-over, interactive content, documentation
Stakeholder collaboration, project management, business outcomes
Current Focus
Most of my time goes to shipping the products on this site: VideoCue in beta, TaskQueue on the App Store, smaller tools and experiments alongside. The work is hands-on: design, build, ship, support.
I’m open to the right role on the right team. I work best with teams who:
- Treat the cross-functional thing as a feature, not a niche
- Care about outcomes, not just completion or activity
- Are remote-first or remote-friendly (I’m based in Savannah, GA)
- Want someone who’ll design the learning, build the tool that delivers it, and stay on after launch
Community Work
Executive Director, Savannah Performance Alliance (501(c)(3) nonprofit)
- Founded in 2018, achieved nonprofit status 2025
- 24 Hour Plays, Savannah Performing Arts Festival
- SPA podcast
VideoCue

Built in Swift + SwiftUI + AVFoundation for macOS. Currently in private beta. Cue-driven timeline, ten overlay layers, live camera channels, four-track audio mixing, multi-output, and full export.
TaskQueue
Single-threaded productivity app. One task at a time.
Built with Swift for iOS/macOS. Demonstrates product thinking and building solutions around constraints. Available on the App Store.
